A combined Little Lambs and Children & Worship group meets in the gym, and will gather as they arrive. This is a time of creative play and language development to prepare for listening to Bible lessons.
Children and Worship
A combined Little Lambs and Children & Worship group meets in the gym, and will gather as they arrive. Leaders present God’s stories in ways that help the children experience as well as learn about God.
Kids Activity Cart
The Kids Activity Cart is found at the back of the worship area. There are bags of quiet activities that children may use during the worship time as well as additional activity sheets and books on the cart. There is also a weekly Children’s Bulletin that correlates with our message each week (this is geared for children ages 6 and up).
Classes are offered for children age 3 through 12th grade on most Sundays from 10:45 – 11:45 a.m. during the school year. These classes introduce children to the foundational truths of the Christian faith.
Pre-school-5th Grade meet in the big room downstairs.
God’s story is exciting—and it’s ongoing!
DWELL invites kids to live into God’s story of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration, and it encourages kids to live out of God’s story every day as they respond to God’s call. Each session provides fun, interactive ways for leaders and kids to learn and explore as together they find their place in God’s Big Story.
6th Grade-High School meets in the Youth Room.
Unpack, understand, live out your faith.
Each lesson invites youth to use their experiences, Christian tradition, and the Bible to unpack a theological idea and test that idea out in the world. Students jot down thoughts, share questions, and walk through a group discussion that allows them to figure out not only what they believe, but also why they believe it.
Each session moves students into an in-depth discussion of an assumption about the Bible. Together, they unpack that assumption to learn more about what it means to call this book the Word of God.
Activities are offered on Wednesday evenings during the fall and winter for children up through 5th grade. These include:
