Announcements for March 15-21

Here at SRC we believe it is important to say what is so and name what is true. So in that practice, we are naming that we are live in unique and stressful times. We are asked to practice social distancing, and live lives that are more isolating than we are used to. If you are feeling isolated and overwhelmed but are confined to the house please reach out to someone. One of the great blessings of our age is the ability to get on the phone, use FaceTime, etc. to have some contact with people. We as staff want you to know that we are here for you. Please give us a call if you need anything. Reach out, give us a call, shoot us a text if you are feeling overwhelmed or are full of anxiety. We want to help, we are here for you.

As you all know we have shut all actives down here at Standale for the next week. That means next weeks service will only be available via Livestream as well. Early next week will reassess whether or not to is wise to resume in person actives. But we want to be safe, so for the time being we will not be having in person activities. If you missed the livestream here is the link to watch it (click here). We apologize about the sound quality, we will fix it for next week.

If you are looking for a way to give your tithe and offerings, you can do so electronically. (click here)

Over the next couple of days please watch your email, the website or the our FaceBook page for announcements. One thing we are assessing is the need for food in our community. I know that many kids who get food at school will be missing that over the next several weeks. We also know that many who are most prone to illness should stay home and may not be able to get out to get groceries or other supplies then need at home. We also know that many of you may be out of work especially if you work at a bar or restaurant, please let us know if are struggling. That being said we are going to come up with a plan to help anyone who is lacking their daily needs. If you know someone who is in needs please let us know. And if you privileged enough to have all you need we will be coming to you to help provide for others. Thank you to everyone who has already offered to help. We will be in touch in the next couple of days. To be most helpful at this point check on your family and friends, let them know that SRC can help, and please contact Pastor Matt if you know of someone who is in need.
