Job Overview
Kids' Connection, a ministry of Standale Reformed Church, is seeking a passionate, faith-driven Childcare Director to lead our Christian-based childcare program. If you have a heart for children, a love for Christ, and leadership experience in early childhood education, we’d love to hear from you! The Director is tasked with maintaining a well-established, faith-based, before and after-school program of before. They must also offer full summer programming. Requirements
- Qualified applicants must be able to meet all licensing requirements as set forth by the State of Michigan regarding child-care for school-age children ages 3-12.
- Applicants must be able to engage in daily, direct interaction with school-age children and adult staff as well as having administrative management skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Develop and implement programs that align with the center's mission and values.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
- Work cooperatively with church staff in a shared facility.
- Utilize administration skills to maintain compliance with regulations and standards.
Skills
- Strong educational background in early childhood education or related fields; experience working with students is essential.
- Proven experience in education administration or higher education teaching is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership abilities with strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and engage with families.
- Ability to develop curriculum that meets the diverse needs of children in care and a faith-based learning experience.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passionate about child development and committed to providing high-quality care in an educational setting.

Pay: $39,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
