AFTER SUNDAY WORSHIP
(approx. 10:45am)
Unpack, understand, live out your faith.
Each lesson invites youth to use their experiences, Christian tradition, and the Bible to unpack a theological idea and test that idea out in the world. Students jot down thoughts, share questions, and walk through a group discussion that allows them to figure out not only what they believe, but also why they believe it.
Each session moves students into an in-depth discussion of an assumption about the Bible. Together, they unpack that assumption to learn more about what it means to call this book the Word of God.
SUNDAY NIGHTS: 6:30-8pm
(during the school year)
Our Youth Group is designed to engage, inspire, and empower young people in their faith journey. We provide a dynamic and welcoming environment where teenagers and young adults can grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and discover their unique gifts and talents. Here's what you can expect from our Youth Group Program:
Weekly Gatherings: We meet every Sunday evening for a time of fellowship, fun, and Bible study. Our gatherings are designed to be relevant, interactive, and uplifting, providing a safe space for young people to explore their faith and ask tough questions.
Outreach and Service Projects: We believe in putting our faith into action by serving others and making a positive impact in our community. Throughout the year, we organize various outreach and service projects, such as volunteering at food banks and participating in mission trips.
Support and Encouragement: We believe that every young person is valued and loved by God, and we are here to support and encourage them every step of the way. Our youth leaders are dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where youth feel accepted, supported, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
Whether you're new to the faith or have been a Christian for years, we invite you to join us and experience the joy of belonging to a community that loves God and loves others. Come as you are, and let's journey together in faith, hope, and love!
We have officially reserved 15 spots for our intergenerational mission trip to Rose Hill, NC to do Hurricane Florence relief work. Skills are welcome, but not required!
WHEN: July 14-20, 2024
WHO: This is a trip where teens through adults go away for a week to do mission work TOGETHER. Older members teach younger members, and intergenerational relationships are strengthened within our church family as we serve others. We will welcome all those 6th grade through adult--singles, families, friends.
WHY: Hurricane Florence is the most devastating natural disaster that North Carolina has ever experienced (approximately 100,000 homes affected). This disaster is so big that it has required a long term rebuild response to help get many people back in their homes.
HOW: Please sign up on the sheet outside the church office or call the office as soon as possible to reserve your spot. The cost will be minimal and we will welcome all those 6th grade through adult--singles, families, friends.

The safety and well-being of every child in our care are our top priorities. All of our volunteers undergo thorough background checks and training to ensure a safe environment for children to learn and grow. We also have established protocols in place to maintain a secure facility and provide peace of mind to parents and guardians.
We welcome parents, guardians, and volunteers to become actively involved in our Children's Ministries. Whether you have a passion for teaching, a gift for storytelling, or simply a heart for children, there are plenty of opportunities to make a difference in the lives of young ones in our church community.
Pastor Suzanne and our congregation want to walk by your side prayerfully through life's highs and lows. Whether you have a celebration or a concern, please let us know how we can pray for you.
